ASHES

November 19, 2016 by

Oh how to discribe the most amazing pet, friend, nurse, security alarm, and therapist in the world. Ashes had just been dropped off at one of the mall pet stores and I instantly fell in love with this small little fur ball and her little pink nose. She melted my heart. But I needed to think about it. Really what should there be to think about, right something so cute a cuddly.  So I placed her on hold and walked around the mall. And I thanked God everyday for His powers for guiding me back to the store and signing the papers and bringing her home. She helped me through breakups with boyfriends, helped me in walking again, and with all the pain I was going through she made all the pain go away with just a scrunchie face, a blink of her eyes, a kiss on your nose or just snuggling up under my chin. We have been through 3 moves and has been my rock through all the rough and stresses of that. But really Ashes loved to go bye bye in the car, getting her bones and walks around the park. But unfortunately time takes its toll and her body and it just didn’t want to work anymore. Her kidney were failing and her heart was working overtime. I know that God has a reason for everything and it was time to take this wonderful angel home. It was way to early for me as her momma to lose her but I know that she is in a better place. Thank you my baby girl for 13 wonderful and amazing years. Rest in peace my love. I miss you every day.
